Dan Schiffbauer | Pastor

Dan Schiffbauer was called to Metro Baptist Church in February 2019 as Pastor. Dan was saved in a small Baptist church in Lindsborg, Kansas and knew shortly after his salvation that God had called him to preach. He and his wife, Angela, actively seek ways to serve in the local church.

Dan is a graduate of Liberty University, where he received his Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Arts with cognates in Bible and Healthcare Sciences. Pastor Dan is bi-vocational and currently works at the Leavenworth V.A. Medical Center as a Certified Peer Specialist. Dan and Angela have five children.

Mark Peterman | Music Director, Deacon

Mark accepted Christ as his Savior when he was 10 years old at a Baptist church in Florida. He began his study of music in elementary school, and has participated in church music for over 30 years. Mark enjoys leading congregational singing, and counts it a privilege to direct smaller groups where he can personally equip others to use their talents for the Lord. He has served as a church musician with his wife, Rebekah, for many years.

Mark has always loved teaching, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Clearwater Christian College. He further prepared to serve the Lord by getting his Master of Arts Degree in Church Ministries from Bob Jones University.
